Return and Refund Policy

1. Nature of Digital Products

All products sold on the website PiloteAutrement.com are digital educational products: revision sheets, study packs and e-books.

Revision sheets and study packs (ATPL aeroplane, ATPL(H) helicopter, PPL, and single subjects) are delivered as access to a personal online library at piloteautrement.com/notes. Immediately after payment, you receive an automated email containing the email address of your order and a one-time code. With them, you open your library in a web browser on a phone, tablet or computer.

  • Your library is open on one device at a time.

  • You can annotate the pages.

  • Updates to the products you bought are included.

  • You can request a printable copy of a subject. Each request is reviewed by Pilote Autrement, and the number of printable copies is limited.

Other digital products, such as e-books, may be delivered as files through a secure download link sent by email. Orders placed before the online library was introduced may have been delivered as PDF files through a download link sent by email (former delivery method).

No physical goods are shipped.

2. Right of Withdrawal

2.1 Digital content (online access)

In accordance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU and Article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content not supplied on a tangible medium once its supply has begun, provided that:

  • you expressly requested that the supply begin immediately, before the end of the withdrawal period;

  • you acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal; and

  • we confirmed your agreement on a durable medium, such as an email.

For the online library, supply begins when your access is opened, that is, the first time you sign in to your library with the one-time code. When the conditions above are met, the right of withdrawal ends as soon as your access is opened. For orders delivered under the former method (download link), supply began when the download started.

If the conditions above were not met, the 14-day right of withdrawal applies in full, even after your access has been opened.

2.2 Physical products

If a physical product is offered on the website, you may withdraw within 14 days of receiving it, without giving any reason (Articles L221-18 and following of the French Consumer Code). Inform us by email at piloteautrement@gmail.com, then send the product back within 14 days of that message. The direct cost of returning it is borne by you, unless stated otherwise on the product page. We refund the price paid, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of your message, and may withhold the refund until we have received the product or proof that it has been sent back.

3. Refund Before Your Access Is Opened

If you have not yet opened your access (you have not signed in to your library with the one-time code), you may withdraw from your order within 14 days of the order, without giving any reason, and receive a full refund. For orders delivered under the former method, the same applies as long as the download has not started.

Send your request by email to piloteautrement@gmail.com, including:

  • the order number,

  • the email address used for the order.

After checking that the access has not been opened, we refund you within 14 days of your request, using the original payment method. The access linked to the order is then closed.

4. Technical Issues and Access Problems

If a technical issue prevents access to purchased digital content (for example a one-time code that does not work, a library that does not open, or, for the former delivery method, a broken or expired download link), contact support. This is not a refund matter.

After verification, access is restored, or a new code or link is sent, free of charge.

Technical support is available via email and, when applicable, via official social media channels.

This does not affect your legal guarantee of conformity for digital content (Articles L224-25-12 and following of the French Consumer Code).

5. Product Updates and Revisions

When updates, corrections, or new versions of a purchased digital product are released, existing customers will be granted access to the updated version at no additional cost, unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.

7. VAT

Prices are shown including VAT where applicable. For consumers in the European Union, VAT is charged at the rate of the customer's country (EU One-Stop Shop scheme). VAT number: FR66999342033.

8. ATP Full Pack (FAA, USA edition): Pass Guarantee and 30-Day Money-Back

This section applies only to the ATP Full Pack (FAA, USA edition). It adds to your rights above and never reduces them.

Pass guarantee. If you fail the FAA Airline Transport Pilot knowledge test (ATM) after studying with these notes, email piloteautrement@gmail.com within 60 days of the test date, with a copy of your Airman Knowledge Test Report and your order number. We refund the full price of the pack to your original payment method.

30-day money-back. Within 30 days of purchase, you can ask for a full refund for any reason by emailing piloteautrement@gmail.com with your order number. No questions asked.

Refunds are made within 10 business days of your request. Once refunded, access to the FAA edition in your library is closed. One refund per customer.
